Appointment of HPAE 5094 Rowan Committee Chair

The Local 5094 Executive Board that has appointed Deborah Cruz to serve on the Local Executive Board as Chair of our Committee for Rowan University.

Deborah is a Program Support Specialist in the Obstetrics-Gynecology Department at the School of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a longtime union activist who served as a Union Liaison and was elected as a Union Rep in 2015. She is currently serving on the Local’s Negotiation Team at Rowan.

The role of the Committee Chair is to help coordinate our Union Reps at Rowan and build our strength through engaging and organizing the members on the Rowan Campus. The Committee Chair also serves as a communications link between our members at the worksite and has a vote on all matters of the Local Executive Board.
