Volunteers Needed For Student Health Screenings in Virgin Islands

Our national union, the American Federation of Teachers, is seeking nurses and other healthcare professionals for a volunteer mission to St. Croix and St. Thomas to provide health screenings for the children of the Virgin Islands in the ongoing aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Volunteers are needed for one or two week trips, from April 8 through April 21, 2018. On the ground, will be conducting vision, dental and auditory screenings for over 5000 students.
