Local 5004 EHMC negotiations update, May 4

Thank you to all the members that came to Thursday’s Membership Meeting – everyone should be wearing their red wristbands every day until we have a contract!

We held our fifth negotiation session today. We continue to make progress on clarifications of language.

Management was disappointed that we did not immediately accept their proposal to give them unilateral ability to give bonuses with no objective standards to a very limited number of full time, non-Care Manager employees.

We are scheduled to meet again on Monday and Thursday. We hope to begin focusing on important proposals to improve professional standards at the Medical Center.
