Local 5097 members: new Collective Bargaining Agreement rules to be implemented on April 1
This is an update to make sure all members are aware that the new CBA Articles listed below will not be implemented until April 1st of this year.
- Article 17: Paid Time Off
- Article 18: Holidays
- Article 19: Earned Sick Leave
- Article 22: Hours of Work and Overtime
What does this mean for me? You will continue to accrue vacation and sick days until PTO takes effect April 1st, any days not used will then go into your bank, both MLK Day and Presidents Day will be observed as Holidays this year and you will continue to receive time and one half after 7.5 hours worked.
