Local 5147 member update, December 15, 2020

Today was our seventh negotiations session with management at HRH. Unfortunately, they are moving at a glacial pace. Their latest offer is 1.2% per year, with 25 cent increases to the shift differentials in years two and three – and nothing more.

We meet again with them Thursday and hope the session is more productive. In the meantime, keep an eye out for a message from the American Arbitration Association – they will be conducting our strike vote. It will be a simple yes or no vote on if we should call a strike if we cannot come to an acceptable agreement for a new contract. The information will be sent via email and we will also post on the bulletin board and on our website.
