Electronic Scheduling News Bulletin
HPAE Leadership had hoped that EHMC Administration would be committed to work in collaboration with HPAE to address issues/changes that would impact the nursing staff. Regrettably, that is not so. As much as we try to address concerns, we have to come to the realization that we are not dealing with honest brokers.
HPAE has taken the following actions as it concerns the Electronic Scheduling System.
HPAE has filed an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) charge against EHMC for failure to respond to HPAE’s information requests. Violation of the contract letter of understanding, which states that HPAE reserves the right to bargain over the effects of the electronic scheduling system for its members.
HPAE has filed a Class Action Grievance for all those similarly situated (which encompasses the entire membership). EHMC has failed to recognize HPAE as the bargaining representative for its members. As well as the violation of the contract letter of understanding concerning the Electronic Scheduling System.
HPAE is asking members!
We want to hear from you:
- Were you able to access the LMS education?
- Were you able to attend a lab session?
- Do you believe the education and lab exercise prepared you properly?
- What issues do you have with the system?
- Other?
