Local 5147 Service Worker Alert

It has come to our attention that management is telling Per Diem Service workers that there was no raise negotiated for them this year. This is not true.

Management is playing games. Our agreement for a 5% increase to all service titles made no mention of Full Time, Part Time or Per Diem. It was our intention and understanding (and the documentation backs this up) that ALL service workers get the 5% unless a new scale was negotiated for them (e.g., nurse assistants).

We have filed a class action grievance and will take it all the way to arbitration if necessary. This is all just one more example of HRH management proving it can’t be relied upon to act in good faith.
