Local 5091 Members Nurses Week Message

Nurses make all the difference. They demonstrate discipline, resilience, and dedication to the clients we serve on a daily basis. We see that consistently with our Nurses here at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. It is often stated “my nurse was so kind and made all the difference for me during such a challenging time in my life.” We are very proud to acknowledge the nursing professionals of our Local 5091 membership this week.

There is no telling what a nurse may walk into when they begin their shift. However, whatever they are faced with, they tackle with grace to the best of their ability. Time and time again, our nurses have been put to the test and they continue to show up as their best self for the team and our patient population. Our nurses are up for any challenges and continue to provide incredible care to make a positive impact whenever possible.

It is all the little things that mean the most. Saying good morning, treating clients with respect and dignity, being a true team player so that we can achieve the goal of ‘world class care’ and save someone’s life is what it’s all about. Our Nurses do this with pride and have worked so hard through some of the most difficult times. We commend you and want to express our gratitude for all of your hard work and dedication to this profession. It is a lifestyle, and our nurses demonstrate that, and our patients experience it.

We are one team and wouldn’t be able to do much without our Nurses! We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude and say THANK YOU for the impact that you make on so many lives each and every single day. Keep up the great work and let’s continue to make that difference-one person at a time!
