Local 5004 Negotiations Update, May 31, 2024 – We have a contract!

We have a contract !! Today we had our 15th negotiation session – and it was a long one.

We met with management throughout the day in an attempt to get to where we needed to be on wages and staffing – and we are happy to report that, due to the solidarity of our membership, we were able to secure a contract with fair wage increases AND improved and enforceable staffing ratios.

We will be setting up meetings to review the new contract and have members vote on it next week – so make sure to keep an eye out for that notice.
