Bargaining Update: UH Fails to Present Wages Proposals

The Administration has failed to present any update on wages over the last two negotiations sessions, despite having added an extra session. They are trying to stall us, hoping we will back down. We cannot let this happen!

We are now focusing on securing fair raises for the next 3 years. This is a critical stepping stone toward correcting the financial inequities we continue to face and recognizing the loyalty we demonstrate every day to University Hospital and our patients. We will not allow the Administration to ignore our needs.

A strong way to demonstrate our solidarity is by signing the petition here: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/university-hospital-respect-our-work-with-a-strong-contract/ Our strength is in our numbers. If you know of a co-worker that is not a member of HPAE please encourage them to sign their membership card, which can be found here: https://join.aft.org/form/hpae-university-hospital-local-05094/local/08071/membership-application-nj-public-sector

We won’t back down until we get the contract and respect we deserve.

In Solidarity,

HPAE Local 5094 Negotiations Team:
