Local 5103 Bargaining Update and Next Steps
After contentious negotiations before the holiday, we continue to be far apart with management on our two biggest issues: staffing and overtime pay. We’ve scheduled our next bargaining date on Wednesday, December 11th, and we need every member who isn’t working to come out to the PDC (room Independence B) that day at 9:00am.
The only way we are going to move management on our major issues is if we have a big show of force from the membership. We hope that you come out and inform your co-workers so we can win the contract that we deserve.
Additionally, we’ll be launching an email campaign on Monday where we’ll be sending management negotiations team targeted emails on Monday and Tuesday. Be on the look out for details closer to then.
