Local 5621 Union updates: General Membership meetings and more!

Please join us for a General Membership meeting on March 4th, 2025. We will be going over results of the negotiations survey and reviewing our priority proposals for contract negotiations, so this will be a VERY important meeting for staying informed as we go into our campaign for safe staffing and fair raises!

While there will be a virtual option for all meetings via MS Teams, including a virtual-only option at 12pm, ALL members are STRONGLY encouraged to attend General Membership meetings in-person if possible. Conversations about the union are always most effective when face-to-face!

Secondly, here are some important updates and reminders:

• We have updated our Unit Reps list and our Local Executive Board list on our website as well as our Facebook page. All members should know who their unit rep and LEB members are! You can find the list on our website: https://www.hpae.org/local/local-5621/
• Make sure you are “ARC’ing up” problems in real time, especially concerns about staffing! We routinely raise issues in Labor Management meetings, and the first question Inspira asks us is always, “Did the person ARC this up as it was happening?” When we are able to confidently say “Yes, they definitely did,” it strengthens our case!
