URGENT Call to Action: 5089 Membership Meeting March 6, 8am + 8pm Zoom

As you have probably heard, recently one of our nurses was assaulted at work by a patient and ended up in the ICU. This is not surprising to many of us, but it is an escalation and a tipping point. We have had enough. We are inviting you to a Zoom Membership Meeting on March 6, 2025 (two separate sessions at 8am OR at 8pm) to talk to you about violence prevention at University Hospital. Together, we are going to push for change.

On the agenda:

• Checking in: How is everyone?
• What are your experiences? Share your stories.
• What steps is the Union taking to support the nurses in the face of workplace violence?
• How can you get involved?

The meeting will be held in TWO sessions for your convenience (8am and 8pm), but you only need to join one of them. Please note that you have to register IN ADVANCE to join.
