Local 5004 EHMC negotiations update, May 21

Thank you to the many nurses that joined us in our attempt to deliver petitions to Warren Geller.  It was disappointing that he chose to hide and not greet the nurses that he knew were going to be there.  Instead we handed the petitions to the Hospital’s negotiation committee led by Patricia Wilson, VP of HR.

We returned to the negotiation table today for the Eleventh Session.  While we hoped we would make significant strides, only incremental progress on a few of the remaining non-economic issues occurred.

We return to the bargaining table tomorrow, and hope that significant progress can be made.  We will let you know what happens.
