CarePoint Announces Layoffs
Last Friday, CarePoint Health management provided HPAE with official notice of layoffs of 49 RNs in 5 Tower at Christ Hospital, based on “consolidating” Med/Surg units at the Jersey City hospital. In addition, CarePoint announced the of elimination of five full-time-equivalent, non-nursing positions at Bayonne Medical Center.
