Local 5094 Wage Increase Update, May 18, 2022
HPAE was recently notified that the negotiated wage increase for University Hospital members is scheduled to take effect in the 5/27/2022 pay cycle. In addition, members should expect to see the retroactive payments within the subsequent 2 pay cycles. As a reminder, the negotiated wage increases are 3.0%, effective 10/1/2021 (including retroactive pay), 2.5% effective 10/1/2022, and 3.0% effective 10/1/2023. Also, HPAE would like to invite any member that has been hired since 3/1/2020 to attend an in-person orientation session, which will take place on Thursday, May 19th, at 10am in the cafeteria. During the pandemic, HPAE was unable to conduct in-person orientations which resulted in some members not receiving a proper introduction to HPAE as well as a brief education regarding their rights while working in a unionized facility. If you are interested in attending the upcoming session, please be advised that you must register in advance so that we can arrange for you to attend the meeting with pay.
