Local 5103 Member Alert: Health and Safety Issues

As many of you know, because of the Red Crosses negligence and disregard for their employees, we’ve had multiple members fall ill at the Princeton and Camden County Donor Centers due to unsafe working conditions. Despite managements push to reopen the centers, we have stood strong and forced them to keep the centers closed. We’ve also gotten OSHA to launch an investigation into the incidents, and yesterday we filed charges with the National Labor Relations Board and OSHA because management refuses to provide us with OSHA logs as required by law.

We will continue to collectively fight for the health and safety of our members. Please report any health and safety issues you encounter to an LEB members or rep, and please be on the lookout for any member actions if we need to elevate these issues.
