Proposal drafting meeting on Tuesday, 5/16!
We are getting closer to the negotiations table! We reached 85% member participation on our contract survey earlier this spring. We had a successful contract
kickoff party on April 28th and the state finally sent us most of the information we requested so that we can bargain as effectively as possible. Now we need to start finalizing the proposals we want to pass across the table to management.
Next Tuesday, May 16th from 12-1:30p, we will be discussing and editing proposals drafts based on the survey results. All members in good standing are invited to attend, especially anyone interested in joining the bargaining committee. We especially want to invite departments that do not have representation on the bargaining committee (which is a majority of the departments located at the Stratford campus) to participate, as this will ensure your department’s interests are represented.
