Local 5107 UMC Union Update: Your Differentials

A quick update on our Differential Grievance:

• Members at Bristol Glen will receive the Preceptor Differential in the next paycheck.
• UMC is still having issues programing in the Weekend Differential. They will get it done by the end of October. UMC has agreed to advance $384.00 of the weekend differential to all of the FT RNs in the next paycheck next week. The advance will be on a separate line in your paycheck under “other Dollars.” The paycheck after next, they will do the same for a pro-rated amount for the PT & PD nurses. Once the system is fully programmed and able to calculate these automatically, they will net this advance against the actual calculated retro pay and pay whatever difference is due (for extra shifts) to each individual.
