Get involved with a local 5004 committee

The Local Executive Board is in the process of making plans for upcoming negotiations in 2024. We anticipate negotiations to start in April 2024. Therefore, we are setting dates for membership meetings, distribution of contract surveys, nominations, and negotiation team elections. We need Communicators to be an essential part of these plans. If you would like to be a Communicator for your unit and/or if you are already a Communicator, please attend the planned Communicator’s Meeting. A continental breakfast will be served, and a boxed lunch to go will be distributed.

Communicators Meeting – 9:30 AM to 12P
Place: Maggiano’s, Riverside Sq., Hackensack
Agenda: Review of draft contract survey
Responsibilities: keeping colleagues involved in meetings and union activities; ensuring that colleagues receive union communications and consider being elected to the negotiation team.

A more detailed plan for Negotiations 2024 will be provided at the Communicator’s Meeting on November 8th. Your involvement is paramount to the success of negotiations. Contact any LEB member for clarification and/or questions.
