HPAE 5089 Local Officer Election

Local 5089 office elections for President, six (6) Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, and two (2) Grievance Chairpersons. Since all the positions were uncontested, no ballots were mailed out.   The Nomination & Election Committee cast one vote on behalf of the slate. We would like to congratulate the new officers. The term of office begins January 1, 2024 and ends December 31, 2025.

Thank you to all who participated in this important democratic process. The right to protest the conduct of an Officer Election is guaranteed by federal law. If a protest is filed concerning the election, the Local Nomination and Election Committee will decide the merits of the protest and determine whether any corrective action should be taken. guidelines can be found in Election Rules attached.
