Workers Memorial Day Rally and March
Last Sunday in New Brunswick, hundreds of workers from community organizations, unions (including HPAE), and faith-based groups rallied to observe Workers’ Memorial Day, an annual commemoration of those who have been killed or injured on the job.

Ana, who works at a NJ Dept. of Child Protection and Permanency office in Camden where a worker was stabbed in November 2014, was instrumental in forcing Rutgers University to address security issues at these offices across the state. Ana talked about HPAE’s efforts to make workplaces more safe, and ended her talk with the exhortation – “Ni una muerte mas! Not one more death!”
