Local 5004 Negotiations Update, April 19, 2024

Today (4/19) we met with management for our first full day of bargaining for our new contract. We presented management with our initial package of proposals. After a brief break, management came back with a handful of questions and then left for the day.

The best part of the day, however, was the delivery of our petition to management. A packed hallway of nurses showed up to deliver our petition to management, in person. We believe the message was hammered home – that all the nurses at Englewood are standing together to achieve better staffing, education and compensation in order to improve recruitment and retention.

Our next negotiations session is set for Thursday, April 25th.
