STAFFING RATIOS FOR ALL BARGAINING UNITS AND FAIR WAGES

We know staffing ratios work and we need ratios now!

The major sticking points are staffing ratios for all units and wages.

HMH responded to our economic proposals on the table by proposing an increase to the shift diff starting in 2025 and the Union countered with an additional increase taking effect upon ratification. We also maintained our proposal for an increase to on-call pay. HMH is now offering a 2% merit raise and we countered with an across the board raise for 2024 and merit for 2025 and 2026. HMH has proposed a new weekend diff. The Union maintained our proposal on 10+ year employees not being required to float. Today HMH rejected all of our counter proposals.

We were able to reach agreement on a student loan repayment program for eligible positions and adding emergency room visits and urgent care visits to day one of ESL.

Our next bargaining sessions are Tuesday 05/28, Thursday 5/30 and Friday 05/31.

We are encouraging members to join us on Tuesday 5/28 at employee entrance to pass out flyers on staffing and wages at 6:30A and 3:00P.
