Local 5103 National Bargaining Update, July 1, 2024

Please take the time to read the attached national bargaining update. Unfortunately bargaining has stalled nationally and will not resume until the fall, however we will be moving forward with preparations for local bargaining. We’ll also be preparing for actions we can take over the summer to put pressure on the Red Cross to settle a contract that gives us a strong wages and healthcare while putting an end to some of their most egregious practices that exploit our members.

Because of all of our hard work, the Red Cross is very strong financially right now, and its time for us to see the benefits of that financial success. We’ll be sending out further updates on next steps soon.
