Local 5118 Member Mobilization Team

My name is Alex Boffo and I am one of the newest members on the LEB for the union. I am in charge of spearheading the member mobilization team and I would love to get as many nurses on board as possible. The member mobilization team consists of bargaining unit members who educate, organize, and encourage local members of HPAE Local 5118. Some of the roles and responsibilities would include educating members on things such as what the union does for its members, what is an ADO form and how to fill one out, how to file a grievance, and encouraging members to come out to events including negotiations, HPAE conventions and events, and state legislation. I would also like for there to be open communication between member mobilization team members and the bargaining unit nurses so that we can address issues in real time and hold Cooper accountable. Meetings would be held quarterly. This is a great way to be a part of the union and help out your fellow nurses!
