Join HPAE & AFTNJ for GOTV efforts in Pennsylvania. The state has favored Democrats in every presidential election between 2000 and 2012. In 2016, Pennsylvania is a key battleground state and could be the keystone of the Electoral College determining Hillary Clinton’s race to the White House. In 2016, Pennsylvania has 20 electoral votes, which is 3.7 percent of the 538 electoral votes up for grabs and 7.4 percent of the 270 electoral votes needed to win the general election.

When: Saturday, October 15, 2016 TIME: 8:00AM – Returning at 4PM
NJ Pick up Location: RU Labor Ed Center 50 Labor Center Way, New Brunswick
Walk Location: Seafarers International Union, 2604 S 4th St, Philadelphia, PA 19148.

Snacks, beverages and box lunches will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their smartphones to utilize our new app-based walk packets.  HPAE’s COPE Committee will pay a stipend of $100 for 2 walk shift too eligible HPAE walkers.
