Members Vote to Authorize Strike
Local 5058 members were forced to take a strike vote on Thursday, 7/20 after HMH refused to agree to the union’s reasonable proposals that put patients first. Members will be notified if and when the bargaining committee issues a 10-day notice of concerted activity. Nurses have proposed proven solutions to staffing issues – recounted by RNs themselves at the negotiations – that puts patients first and provide healthcare workers with suitable health coverage.
