After a year-long battle, the Office of Information Technology at Rutgers Camden is now HPAE Strong!
The first bargaining session will be February 15. The agenda is to discuss the big picture with the Hudson Health partnership, CarePoint’s financial state, etc.
Our bargaining committee is sending a call out to all our members to vote on ratifying the agreement settled on January 31st, 2024 with Hudson Regional.

We have general membership meetings on February 22nd at 12 pm and 4 pm. Both will be virtual via Zoom. Our officers will give updates from the staffing committee, grievances, and health and safety issues.
We are hoping that you have had a wonderful start to the New Year. This year will be particularly exciting as we are embarking on a new bargaining campaign with the current Union contract expiring in September 2024.
We spent a lot of time working on and discussing our staffing proposal. In the end, we presented management with a comprehensive counter on staffing that (we believe) addresses concerns from both sides.
We met with management for another full day of bargaining for our new contract. We spent most of the day composing a comprehensive economic counter proposal to provide to them.
