We hope you had a lovely holiday season and a happy new year. Since Wednesday 1/3/24, we have heard from several members across HPAE Locals 5094 and 5089 that their health insurance premiums increased drastically in the 1/5/24 paycheck.
On January 4, we met with management for another full day of bargaining for our new contract. We had a mostly productive day with good discussion and several more tentative agreements executed.

In the past month, CarePoint has cut Hours, Benefits, and forced more Expensive Insurance on its non-union employees.
We started off the year with our new President and L.E.B. We want to thank all our members for helping in the transition and getting to know your officers.
Documenting these occurrences provides proof of what took place and when. Without filling out an unsafe staffing form, it sadly becomes words in the wind that hold little value in the bigger picture.
