The complaint, filed with the NLRB on Friday, says HRH informed HPAE members of the insurance switch on November 29th, which goes against their union contract.
On December 9, 2024, we met with University Hospital management to continue negotiating over our contract and we are pleased to announce that we have settled!
We understand that management has decided to change the existing insurance plan to another plan, without giving the union the necessary and relevant information to review the new plan and see if it is comparable to the existing plan.

After contentious negotiations before the holiday, we continue to be far apart with management on our two biggest issues: staffing and overtime pay.
On December 2, 2024, we met with management for a long, frustrating negotiations session. Although we are making progress we have received disappointing responses from management.

We had our bimonthly Labor Management and Staffing Committee meeting and have some updates for you.
The LEB has been in active talks with management about members requests for 12 hour shifts.
