We are happy to announce that you all voted nearly unanimously to authorize our committee to give a 10-day notice for concerted activity!
If you want to get to a place where we can move management, be at our upcoming membership meetings, we will discuss this in detail and voice your view: your active participation is key to settling the best contract possible
We are asking each member to vote to authorize our committee to call for concerted action up to and including a strike.
After months of bargaining with Hackensack Meridian Health executives, nurses brought their message to the public’s attention as they continue to bargain for a contract that helps to recruit and retain nursing staff during a state-wide staffing crisis in hospitals.

The American Arbitration Association (AAA) has conducted and tallied the Election of Officers for Local 5058 Officer Elections. We would like to thank all the members who participated in this democratic process.
What a beautiful day it was on May 5 to celebrate our membership, the dedicated nurses of HPAE 5089 and share the new HPAE Local 5089 jacket for all members over breakfast and lunch in the courtyard.
