At Rutgers University, union workers rallied Tuesday against what they say are “union-busting” actions by the state university.
We have been working without a contract since September, yet management refuses to bargain in good faith. We need to send management the message that we are united, and they need to take us seriously.
We meet with Complete Care on October 6 with regards to the roll out of the health insurance. There have been questions from the members, and we wanted to give an update from that meeting.
HPAE Local 5103 will be holding an election for both the RN and Technical Presidents. These elections are due to RN tie and a protest being upheld in Technical election.

Open enrollment for healthcare plans under the State Health Benefit Program is scheduled to begin October 1, 2022. We wanted to take this time to explain the changes to the healthcare plans for the State Benefit Program.
The contract between HPAE and Cornerstone expired on December 31, 2021, and since that time, we have only been able to have 4 negotiation sessions.
