The Ratification Meeting will take place via Zoom and In-person on Tuesday, June 8 at 8AM, 1PM and 8PM. Please hold the date while we reserve a location.
Voting begins tonight for ratification of our new contract with Englewood Health. Below are links to a summary of the agreement, the full tentative agreement and updated wage scales with the new increases added in.
Ratification if we have reached a tentative agreement, it will be presented to members for a vote or Strike Preparation if we don’t have an agreement.
HMH continues to work slowly at the bargaining table, pushing to weaken our contract and lower the bar for our patients by proposing weaker floating standards, flexing, freezing our pension, and replacing across the board raises with merit raises.
Because of circumstances outside of anyone’s control, the Hospital had to postpone our bargaining sessions this week. Management proposed a one month extension of our contract, which we rejected.
To date, we have had six bargaining sessions with management. The following does not represent all proposals on each side. These are preliminary, but represent a priority to address with you at present.
Today we reached a Tentative Agreement for a new contract with the hospital. The membership meetings to VOTE on our new contract is June 3 at 8:30, 1:00, 5:30 and 8pm.
At 4:24PM the hospital emailed their “Time Limited, Last, Best and Final Offer”. We will inform you and discuss at Thursday’s meeting.
We were able to come to an agreement on a few minor issues but the hospital negotiation team made it clear that they are “Not Interested” in any of our major issues such as staffing, education, wages and vacation.
