The American Arbitration Association has completed the tally of the Special Election of Local 5629 Officer Election. We would like to thank all the candidates for their participation.
HPAE was recently advised by management that effective February 24th, the Hospital will begin converting .9 staff nurse positions to 1.0 positions as they become vacant.
The Nominations/Election Committee announces that there are six Local 5131 officer positions that are up for election this year. Nominations for these positions are currently being accepted by the nomination committee.

All members of Local 5629 should have received a mailing from the American Arbitration Association (AAA) to vote for a new Local Co-Vice President. Included in the mailing should be a ballot, a secret ballot envelope and a business return
As union members and employees at HMH, we are glad to see that HMH finally recognizes their employees are not compensated properly for their value and experience when it comes to those delivering patient care at HMH facilities.
On Monday, January 27, 2020, the tentative agreement reached between the HPAE Local 5094 Negotiation Committee and UH was ratified by an overwhelming majority of members.
The Local 5094 Nomination and Election Committee has completed Local 5094 Special Officer Elections. The election was uncontested and the committee cast one vote on behalf of the candidate.
