Sen. Booker to join HPAE, NJ Mental Health Association to launch training on coping with COVID-19 stress, suffering and trauma

WHAT: As Americans enter the third year of the coronavirus pandemic, HPAE, AFT and the Mental Health Association of NJ are partnering to provide opportunities for all essential workers to address the emotional and mental strain they have lived with while continuing to perform the essential work that has kept society functioning. Courses will include:

  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Trauma and Traumatic Stress
  • Coping and Resiliency
  • Creating & Providing Peer to Peer Support
