Bargaining Update: Session #1

Yesterday (3/30) at the first day of negotiations, our committee and a large group of member observers delivered a petition with 667 signatures representing well over 80% of our membership! It was a powerful display of our unity and provided a great backdrop for us to deliver our initial proposals focused on enforceable nurse to patient ratios, highly competitive pay and benefits and ensuring a safe workplace for us and our patients.

Management will be giving us their proposals at the next session, which is scheduled for Thursday, April 23rd. We are discussing adding an additional bargaining day between now and then, and will let you know as soon as its confirmed. We encourage members to continue coming out to negotiations to show our unity.

In solidarity,

Local 5105 Bargaining Committee
