Local 5107 Phoenix Members: Strike School

Our union will be Strike-Ready when our contract expires this spring. No one wants a Strike, but Management refuses to provide information and refuses to meet to negotiate with us. We negotiate together because we win more as one union than we would as separate individuals. Management is hoping we give up and go away – but we will do whatever it takes to win a fair contract with Fair Pay, Better Benefits and Safe Staffing for ALL. To be clear, we will get nothing unless we stand together and win a strong Contract.

Management’s behavior is unlawful and unnecessary. We are ready to sit down and bargain in good faith, like the law requires. They won’t even respond to our calls, texts, and emails to schedule days for negotiations.

We take this very seriously, and want every Union Member to have the facts. We will be hosting a Strike School on Monday, March 23 so you can know how we got here, what the plan is, what your rights are, and how you can have a say.

Sessions will be at 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM, 4:00 PM, & 5:00 PM at the Holiday inn Express Conference Center at 303 Union Ave, Haskell, NJ 07420.
