BARGAINING UPDATE #1 WITH COMPLETE CARE AT HARBORAGE

Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to fill out the contract survey. It is of the utmost importance that we have your input for the upcoming negotiations with this employer. If you have not filled out the survey yet, please see a union officer for a copy.

Complete Care at Harborage has confirmed May 4th to start negotiations. It is imperative that all members get involved in this process so that we can maintain and protect our contract. We must have solidarity to fight against any possible takeaways. We need members on each unit to serve on the Contract Action Team so that we can communicate with everyone as this process plays out. If you would like to serve on the CAT team, please contact one of us ASAP.

Based on the contract surveys that we have received to date the team will be presenting proposals focused on:

  • Wages/Shift Diff./Weekend Diff
  • Health & Safety
  • Staffing
  • Uniform Allowance
  • Benefits

We will be putting out a member update after each bargaining session to keep you informed.

We will be having our membership meeting on April 8th 8am – 4pm at the Homewood Suites, 10 The Promenade, Edgewater, on the 2nd floor right down from the facility.
