HPAE 5089 Rutgers Bargaining Update #2

We had a full day of bargaining with management today (4/15). We presented 21 proposals today including proposals on vacation scheduling, holidays, differentials, pension and retirement benefits. Rutgers asked questions, but did not provide any counter-proposals today. Rutgers also has not provided any information that we requested.

Now is the time to get involved! Please contact any of the bargaining committee members to discuss proposals and suggest ideas. Our union is only as strong as everybody’s participation.

To make progress at the table, we need to stand together and show Rutgers leadership that we are strong. Wear your stickers, take photos, and show that we are united! Our next bargaining session is Thursday, April 23rd. We will be presenting our wage proposals.
