HPAE 5089 Rutgers Bargaining Update #3

We just finished our third bargaining session with the University.

We requested financial information back in January. It’s been months, and Rutgers has not handed over a single document. If we do not receive the information for our next session, we will be filing an Unfair Practice Charge against the University.

We have come to each session in good faith and ready to negotiate. At this point, it does not feel like Rutgers has any sense of urgency to get an agreement. Rutgers has not issued a single counter proposal.

Our members deserve a contract. Rutgers needs to come to the table ready to negotiate. We are tired of the delay tactics.
