Union Update, April 2, 2026

Last night (4/1), Management sent out a new WARN (layoff) notice. This WARN notice is identical to the one management sent out in 2024. They’ve been ‘extending’ that original Notice for the last year and a half. Last year, because of union action, the State of NJ told them that the ‘extensions’ aren’t valid, and they are on the hook for a lot of money in penalties.

We put in a request for information and will pass on anything we learn. However, management has given no one any specific plan and may just want to keep everyone scared.

If you want to take itemized deductions (not the standard deduction), you can ask HR for your total OT Hours which can be deducted.
