BARGAINING UPDATE #2 WITH COMPLETE CARE AT HARBORAGE

Yesterday marked our first day of bargaining for local 5097.

The union presented twenty (20) proposals identified by our membership as top priorities.

These include economic improvements such as new wage scales, across-the-board raises, and weekend differentials. We also put forward critical proposals on safe staffing-establishing guidelines for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and strengthening staffing committee language to give the union a greater voice in recruitment and retention.

In addition, we addressed the need for increased security measures throughout the facility to better protect our members, new AI protections, permanent assignments, and ongoing concerns with housekeeping shift hours.

These are the issues you told us matter most, and we made it clear to management that we will continue to fight for them.

We have also scheduled (3) three additional bargaining dates as we move forward. Our current contract expires on May 31st.

TAKE ACTION – Now we need your support- please wear your “Fair Contract Now” stickers throughout the facility to show management we are united. We will have them passed out this week.
