HPAE 5004 AFT Delegate Election Update

Nominations for the Local 5004 AFT Convention Delegates officially closed on April 27, 2026. Following the close of the nomination period, the local has received two (2) nominations.

Local 5004 has determined it will be sending four (4) delegates to the convention. Under the HPAE Delegate Election Rules, an election is not necessary when the number of candidates does not exceed the number of available positions.

Accordingly, the following individuals will serve as the Local 5004 delegates:

  • Sarah Szuleiki (Nominee)
  • Elaine Van Buren-Rizzo (Nominee)
  • Alice Baren (Elected Officer)
  • Cathy Goldfischer (Elected Officer)
