HPAE 5030 AFT Delegate Election Update

Nominations for the Local 5030 AFT Convention Delegates officially closed on April 27, 2026. Following the close of the nomination period, the local has received only one (1) nomination.

Local 5030 has determined it will be sending three (3) delegates to the convention. Under the HPAE Delegate Election Rules, an election is not necessary when the number of candidates does not exceed the number of available positions.

Accordingly, the following individuals will serve as the Local 5030 delegates:

  • Elizabeth Simon (Nominee)
  • Tara Rojo (Elected Officer)
  • Azza Elsaid (Elected Officer)
