Local 5097 Complete Care at Harborage Bargaining Update #3

BARGAINING UPDATE #3 COMPLETE CARE AT HARBORAGE LLC 5/14/26

Today was our 2nd day of bargaining for local 5097. The bargaining team again went over our proposal and listed the ones of top priority to Complete Care management.

This discussion included economic improvements such as new wage scales, which include percentage increases each year of the agreement and a raise upon ratification, including those above the scale, and we presented statistics from BLS showing we are underpaid for the area, and weekend differentials for all employees of $1.25 per hour. We also maintained an increase in the shift differentials. We continued our discussions on safe staffing- establishing guidelines for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and strengthening staffing committee language to give the union a greater voice in recruitment and retention.

Health & Safety remained a top priority with regards to visitors. We addressed the need for increased security measures throughout the facility to better protect our members, new AI protections, permanent assignments & floating guidelines, and ongoing concerns with housekeeping shift hours.

We have also scheduled additional bargaining dates as we move forward. Our current contract expires on May 31st. We will keep you posted as we move forward.
