Local 5097 Complete Care at Harborage Bargaining Update #4

The bargaining team met today (5/19/26) with management who presented some counter proposals based off the union’s proposals of May 14.

Those discussions included discipline, staffing, floating, improved staffing committee language, and health & safety. We were able to agree that discipline will not be issued typically more than 10 days after occurrence, no call no show improved to include emergency circumstances, new floating language for the first time to include the order in which someone is floated. These are wins for our members!

Wages and staffing remain top priority, but management has not presented any economic counters as of today’s bargaining session.

Management did agree to additional bargaining dates of May 27th and 28th. Our current contract expires on May 31st. We will keep you posted as we move forward. We want to thank all of you for stickering up this weekend and the pictures have been posted on the local Facebook page, please visit.

TAKE ACTION – Now we need your support again – we have a “Fair Contract” petition that needs your signature this week. Please sign so that we can present it to management to show that they need to respect all of us.
