Local 5105 Bargaining Update #10
After a very frustrating day, we did not reach an agreement on a contract this evening and remain VERY far apart on our key issues. However at the end of the session, we started getting some momentum towards an agreement. Because of this momentum, we agreed to a one week extension of the contract and will be meeting Wednesday, June 3rd.
We will give a more detailed update at our membership meeting on Monday, and discuss our next steps, including the possibility of giving management a 10 day strike notice. The meetings will be at 8:00am and 8:00pm at the Mount Holly Moose (853 Woodlane Rd, Mt Holly, NJ 08060) and 4:30pm Virtual on Zoom. Because of the power and unity we have shown throughout this campaign, we have seen some major concessions from management, including their willingness to put ratios in our contract. But what’s on the table is not nearly enough.
