Our contract books are in! Please see one of the Local Executive Board officers to get your book. They will be available in the ICU and Wound Care.

Hello Local 5142. In light of Nurses Week, I want to thank all of you for your dedication and a job well done. I understand that in the next few months there will be added stressors with meeting training deadlines and ultimately going live with EPIC. Please use your resources and if you have any questions ask one of your super users.

Just a reminder, for those on even years, to get your nursing license renewed by the end of this month!

We are also looking for nurses to represent their unit as a Union Representative. If you would like more information or may be interested in taking an active role within the Union, please let one of us know. We would love to have you join our team!

Hey there everyone! I want to share some awesome news. We now have a checking account for Local 5142. You may be wondering why this is awesome news, so I will explain. By having our own checking account, it will enable us to do more for you in the future. Eventually when we can build up enough money, we can offer classes that will earn you CEUs and will also help pay for conferences that pertain to your specialty. These are just a couple of examples of what we will be able to do.

Hi everyone! We had a busy past few months with grievances and we are proud to say that we have won over 85%! Always remember, filing a grievance is a process with 10-day filing guidelines. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!
