Local 5185 May 2026 Union Update

Below is your union update for May, 2026.

WARN Notices:
In response to our class-action grievance and Unfair Labor Practice Charge over the April 7 WARN Notice, management has confirmed in writing that it will “fully honor and comply with the Successor Agreement, including Article 1 (of the Collective Bargaining Agreement). The Employer will continue to honor all applicable agreements, understandings, experience, seniority, accruals, benefits, past practices, and all other terms and conditions of employment without interruption, consistent with the terms of the Agreement.”

This means that management will honor seniority, PTO Accruals, and other benefits we have accrued.

Members fought hard for these protections in our contract, and now we’re fighting hard to enforce them!
